Second Post

One year to re-post! After working as a casual relief teacher for 2010 and the first half of Term 1, 2011, I took up a one year contract to teach science at Toronto High School. Just prior to this contract, which started in Term 2, I did a 5 week block at Hunter River High School. Talk about a vertical learning curve! Must make an effort to post more often, and have a few topics in mind.

First Post

Watching "28 Days Later" while composing this first post. In NSW it is school holidays, so no work until the 11th of October. I have 2 weeks work at West Wallsend High School, which means I will have to teach Stage 6 Bio to Year 11.
For those who are wondering, alloquy means speaking to others, thanks to the Phrontistery for providing the inspiration for the blog title.
